Tech Gyan presents Samsung A8 plus

There have been rumors running around that suggest Samsung plans to completely overhaul the design of its Galaxy A series. One of the major changes that will affect most of the devices in the new 2018 Galaxy A lineup is the removal of the home button.

At the same time, they will benefit from the beautiful Infinity Display, which is meant to make them more appealing to those looking for a mid- to high-end smartphone. The bezel-less design and the removal of the home button will also bring the Galaxy A series closer to Samsung's Galaxy S flagships when it comes to the aspect.

One of the phones we know Samsung plans to unveil very soon is the Galaxy A7 (2018). A couple of pictures of the device, also known as Samsung SM-730, have just appeared on Weibo, the Chinese main social network.

The leaked live pictures show a rather great-looking phone that, apparently, won't be launched on the market as Samsung Galaxy A7 (2018) as we previously expected. One of the pictures reveals that the name of the phone is, in fact, Galaxy A8+ (2018), which makes us believe that there will be a regular Galaxy A8 (2018) as well.

The Infinity Display seems to be there although we can't confirm the aspect ratio. Still, word is most of Galaxy A series phones to be launched next year will pack 18:9 displays, unlike Samsung's flagships that boast 18.5:9 screens.

Sadly, there are no pictures of the back of the phone, so we can't see whether or not Samsung will use a dual-camera setup on the Galaxy A8+ (2018). These new phones are expected to be unveiled within a month or two, so we'll probably have more details about them until then.
