Vivo APEX phone: Bezel-less and notch-less
One of the more interesting things announced at the MWC 2018 is the Vivo APEX FullView concept smartphone. The handset lives up to the Fullview branding as the company revealed a near bezel-less device with no notch.
The concept model boasts 1.8mm top and side bezels, and 4.3mm at the bottom of the 5.99-inch display. This makes the Vivo APEX the thinnest bezelled phone or as near to bezel-less as
any at the time of writing. The device, in fact, could surpass 98%
screen-to-body ratio, if they could further lower the bezel.

If you're wondering where the speakers are, they aren't on the usual places. To handle audio, Vivo
developed something called they call Screen SoundCasting Technology
that turns the display into a speaker. The company promises that the
technology helps the phone conserve power, as well reduce sound leakage,
and optimize low to high pitch sounds.

The company also managed to hide a proximity sensor and an ambient light sensor somewhere.
For now, the Vivo APEX is just a concept phone. But it does give us an idea on how the company is tackling and innovating in the war against bezels.
